This Trackless Roller Coaster is Insane!

The Flying Turns coaster at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania is truly unique. Currently, none other exist like it in the world. It operates much like a bobsled running, at its fastest parts, completely without a track! The free-flying, wooden coaster is modeled after a design that hasn’t existed since the 1920s and took seven years to construct and get all of the physics just right. While it opened in 2013, the coaster won a Golden Ticket award from Amusement Today for the Best New Ride in 2014 and currently ranks #25 in the Top 50 coasters in the United States.
